The beginning
The seeds of SoldeLunaCrafts start back in 2013, with the birth of my daughter. As any mother, I wanted the best for my child. I wanted natural, organic and chemical free products for her young and vulnerable skin. Skin is the largest organ of your body and quickly absorbs any substance that you apply on it. As I researched on the internet I became aware that in the UK, a skin care item can be classified as organic as long as it has a very low percentage of organic ingredients. Not only that, but synthetic ingredients such as artificial fragrances, colouring and chemical agents can cause severe allergic reactions and are common in so called natural brands.
This revelation on the ingredients of beauty skin care products inspired me to start making my own soaps and body creams for my family. I quickly saw a marked improvement on my daughter’s skin (she was prone to aggressive skin spots that would leave her with scars). I was also struggling with my own skin allergies. For many years I had spent so much money on high brand products that promised to be hypoallergenic, yet I was not seeing said improvements and continued with skin issues. By using products that were natural, with no synthetic and aggressive ingredients, my skin felt better, healthier and much improved.

SoldeLunaCrafts started as an Etsy shop in 2017, https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/SoldeLunaCrafts. Due to the popularity of the products, in late 2019 we launched www.soldelunacrafts.com. At SoldeLunaCrafts we make affordable, high-quality handcrafted skincare products.
We embrace nature and truly believe that a holistic, organic lifestyle approach is the key to achieving balance in our bodies and with nature. All of our products are inspired by nature, and every ingredient that we include in our products is there for a specific, holistic purpose.
At SoldeLunaCrafts, all products are handmade in small batches to ensure complete quality control and thus avoiding the use of harmful and toxic artificial preservatives. We use traditional techniques with a modern twist so that every product is unique and personal.
All of our products are nourishing, made with natural oils, preservative free, vegetarian, plastic free and affordable.

In a world where deforestation, rapid climate change and plastic pollution are major concerns, we need to take action now.
We believe in transparency, and that is what you will find in our products. All products are made fresh and in small batches, that don’t require the use of toxic artificial preservatives.
Wherever possible, we reuse and recycle boxes, cardboard and plastic packaging to minimize the impact on the environment. We also encourage you to keep the containers and send them back to us for recycling. We will refund you the cost of the postage.
Sustainable and harmonious living with nature is achievable, we only need to take that first step to make positive eco friendly changes in our lives!
